Objective:

Host or attend a pie baking contest.

Details:

It’s time for a pie baking contest! Gather with friends and eat lots of pie. Win or lose, we hope you have a great time in the process.

1) Attend a pie eating contest!

Option One- Host the contest yourself!

Invite a group over, instructing those who are interested to bring a pie for the contest. You’ll need to be sure to come up with a system for voting for the best pie. You could have each guest anonymously vote, or assemble a council of “pie experts” to make the call. Consider awarding a prize for the winner!

NOTE: If you host the contest, you are not required to bake a pie in order to complete this objective.

Option Two- Let somebody else do the dishes!

Find and attend a pie eating contest that you are not hosting. Bake a pie and enter it into the contest.

IMPORTANT: If you do not host, you are required to bake and enter a pie in order to complete this objective. Hosts are exempt from baking.

2) Post a photo of yourself at the contest (preferably holding your pie) and share it to Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts. You can also share your work in our Facebook group.

Objective:

The game of golf… At its core, it’s a wedge attached to a stick, used to hit a sphere? Yeah? Maybe that’s a flimsy connection, but we’re going with it anyway!

1) Choose a type of golf you’d like to play, and figure out where you’d like to play it.

Nine holes? Twelve? Mini golf? It’s up to you!

If you’re new to golf and up for a real challenge, you could even take a golf class!

2) Play! It’s not complicated, just get yourself on the green and go for it.

3) Take a photo to document your golf experience and share it on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts. You can also share your experiences in our Facebook group.

Details:

1)  Research pizzerias you may want to visit.

Remember- Quest Scouts is all about trying new things! Sure, you can visit restaurants you've been to before, but do your best to expand your horizons. Consider googling “best pizza in your city/state” and see what comes up! Use that as inspiration for your journey.

2) Print out a "Quest for the Best Slice" pizza rating sheet. (For best results when printing, hit “fit to page.”) Make sure to bring your rating sheet along as you move on to step three!

3) Visit a pizzeria of your choice. Sample a slice, and record your thoughts on your pizza rating sheet.

4) Document your visit with a photo and post it on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts and #Pizza. You can also share your experiences in our Facebook group.

5) (Optional) Continue your Quest for the Best Slice by continuing to go to pizzerias, eat pizza and record your thoughts.

Notes: A) Each pizzeria you visit (maximum six) is worth 150 points, for a total of up to 900 points. Only 150 points per restaurant may be claimed, even if you order more than one slice. B) The "Quest for the Best Slice" does not have to be completed in a single day, so take your time! C) For the purposes of this quest, a “pizzeria” is any restaurant that sells pizza.

6) When you have completed your Quest for the Best Slice, let us know which pizzeria was your favorite in the comments below.
