Objective:
Check off something on your “to do” list in an elevated fashion.
Details:
1) Take a look at your to do list. (Of course, your to do list might only exist in your head.)
2) Choose a task from your list to complete. (If possible, choose an existing task rather than adding a new task to the list.)
3) Raise the bar on the task you chose by doing it just a little bit better than you were planning.
For example, if you were planning to cook a nice dinner for your significant other, cook some dessert as well. Or, if you were planning on cleaning your bathroom, dust off the bathroom light fixture you've been overlooking.
