Weekly Challenge: Entitled: Pop! 📸
Complete the Pop 200 point Photography Objective through creating a portrait entitled "Pop!" and writing an artist's statement to justify your reasoning.
Details:
1) If you were to take an artistic photo entitled “Pop!”, what would your subject matter be? Take some time to brainstorm ideas and choose the one that speaks to you the most.
2) Take your photo! Do your best to take the time to stage and create a photo you’re proud of.

Note: You are the planner and director of this photo. As long as you “set up the shot,” you may enlist an assistant to snap the shot.
3) Take a bit of time to research photography artist’s statements. We suggest starting with this page from Art School Portal, as it provides both a description of what to include in your statement, as well as examples. Keep in mind that while many artist statements describe a collection of work, you’ll be describing a single photo.
4) Write an artist’s statement for your photograph.
5) Share your photo, along with your accompanying artist statement, in a comment on our Facebook Page on the post “Weekly Challenge- Entitled: Pop! 📸”.
6) Don’t forget to record your points! Completing this objective not only earns you a star, but also 200 points towards your Pop quest for completing the Photography Objective.
