Weekly Challenge: Original Stash 🔍
Complete the 250 point Origins Find Objective through locating a geocache or letterbox.
Details:
Quest Scouts find objectives often (but not always) center the activities of geocaching and/or letterboxing. If you’re new here, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with one (or both) of these hobbies. (And for those who are old hat at this, this objective will be an easy one!)
1) If you are not familiar with geocaching and/or letterboxing, now is your chance to learn about them. First, watch both videos provided on the Origins Find Objective page.
2) After watching the videos, choose which hobby you’d like to try out for this objective. Depending on which you’ve chosen, check out the Geocaching or Atlas Quest (aka letterboxing) website to further familiarize yourself.
3) Identify a hide you’d like to search for. (At Quest Scouts we use the term “hide” as an inclusive term that means either a geocache or a letterbox.)
4) Make the find!
5) Document your adventure with a photograph and share it on our Facebook Page as a comment on the post “Original Stash 🔍.” (Posting on our Facebook Page is what reminds us to award you your well deserved star!)
6) Along with your photo, tell us about your adventure!

7) Don’t forget to record your points! Completing this objective not only earns you a star, but also 250 points towards your Origins quest for completing the Find Objective.

-Leave a post on our Facebook post as outlined above, (Steps 5 & 6)
-before May 7th, 2023
-while holding an active Quest Scouts membership.
