Weekly Challenge: World's First 🌎
Complete the 300 point Origins Visit Objective through traveling to a location that claims it is the home of a "world's first" or "original”.
Details:
1) Identify and locate a location that claims to be the “world’s first” or “original”. Feel free to extend your search to the first in the county as well.
Note: The location should not simply have “first” or “original” in its title, but actually claim to be the first location.
Examples Include:
World’s First Coca-Cola Painted Wall Sign, Cartersville, GA
The First Mile of Concrete Highway, Wayne County, MI
World’s First Dark Sky City, Flagstaff, AZ
Do your best to keep the heart of this objective in mind when choosing your location. It's 300 points, so think big!
2) Visit the the location you chose.
3) While there, create a moment that honors the location. For instance, if you visited the World’s First Coca-Cola sign, consider drinking a coke while there. If you visit the Home of the Hamburger, have a seat and eat a hamburger!
5) Take a photo to document your adventure and share it on our Facebook Page as a comment on the post “World's First 🌎.” (Posting on our Facebook Page is what reminds us to award you your well deserved star!)
6) Alongside your photo, let us know:
What “original” location did you visit?
Who did you go with?
What did you do while there?
Did you have a good time?
7) Don’t forget to record your points! Completing this objective not only earns you a star, but also 300 points towards your Origins quest for completing the Visit Objective.

-Leave a post on our Facebook post as outlined above, (Steps 5 & 6)
-before May 29th, 2023
-while holding an active Quest Scouts membership.
