Weekly Challenge: Scream 😱 🔪
October is Member Appreciation Month 2023! This is the fourth of FIVE CHALLENGES created by your fellow scouts. Do you like scary movies? Quest Scout Jackie T wants to know! She challenges you to grab a boo-friend and watch a scary movie of your (or their) choice!
Details:
1) Find a friend/family member who has never seen YOUR favorite “scary” movie. Or, if you’re not particularly into the genre, find a friend who is and ask them to suggest their favorite.
This can be any “scary” movie of your choosing (classic black & whites (like Dracula, The Birds), classic 80s horror (like Nightmare on Elm Street), modern horror (like House of 1000 Corpses), remakes (like IT), etc.
2) Arrange a date for a screening together! You could watch at the same location, or watch concurrently yet long distance. The key here is that you both watch the movie!
3) Grab your favorite movie snacks and enjoy the movie together!
4) If you suggested the movie, have them write up a short review. If they suggested the movie, write the review yourself.
In the review, please include:
What movie was chosen?
Who suggested the movie?
Do you like scary movies?
What did you think of the movie?
5) Take a photo that documents your experience and share it on our Facebook Page as a comment on the post “Scream 😱 🔪.” (Posting on our Facebook Page is what reminds us to award you your well deserved star!)
6) Along with your photo, post the movie review from step 4.

-Leave a post on our Facebook post as outlined above, (Step 5 & 6)
-before November 13th, 2023
-while holding an active Quest Scouts membership.
